Description:

HP is hiring a Software Application Engineer for its software delivery framework in Bangalore. This role sits within a full-stack product squad, tasked with designing, coding, and maintaining concurrent backend microservices and responsive front-end customer interfaces. Moving away from traditional monolithic stacks, the architecture emphasizes high-throughput, low-latency inter-service communication. You will be responsible for translating specific user workflows into clean code blocks, optimizing relational schemas, configuring distributed caching, and rolling out iterative updates across local, networked, and cloud-hosted platforms.

Requirements:

• Four-year Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or commensurate practical competence.
• 4–6 years of professional, hands-on software engineering experience specializing in applications programming and full-stack component integrations.
• Strong hands-on development depth utilizing Go (Golang) to engineer backend services, with a comprehensive grasp of Go's concurrency models (goroutines, channels) and runtime behaviors.
• Direct experience configuring microservices using gRPC and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) to facilitate fast, serialized inter-process messaging.
• Deep operational familiarity with PostgreSQL, including designing sound schemas, performance indexing, and writing highly optimized SQL queries.
• Practical engineering familiarity using Redis for application caching matrices, session storage, and rapid in-memory data access patterns.
• Highly proficient in React.js to build dynamic, component-based front-end application layers, featuring solid experience with hooks and state administration (Redux or Context API).
• Proven capability to write, document, and execute comprehensive application test plans, debug code logic errors, and refine software performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity working closely inside mature Agile/Scrum delivery loops, communicating project status updates, and aligning with internal and outsourced engineering partners.
• Direct background working with or supporting a specialized pricing or quoting intelligence platform framework.
• Baseline familiarity with main cloud environments (AWS/Azure), container ecosystems (Docker/Kubernetes), DevOps toolchains, or secondary languages (Java/Python).
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, high learning agility, strong results-orientation, and clear cross-functional communication habits.
